About SlowDen

SlowDen is a free browser-game site where 200 games run in the browser tab you already have open — no download, no install and no sign-up — and where independent developers can submit a game of their own.

Who makes SlowDen

One person, not a company. SlowDen is built and run by an independent developer who introduces herself on the home page in her own words: “I’m Liza — 11, from Uttar Pradesh, India.” She makes games, apps and AI projects; SlowDen is where the games live and where other developers can put theirs.

That is the whole team. There is no studio behind this, no office and no budget — which is also why SlowDen is careful about what it promises anyone.

Where the games come from

SlowDen lists 200 games across 10 categories — .io Games, Horror Games, Block & Sandbox Games, Puzzle Games, Racing Games, Shooting Games, Games for Girls, Funny Games, Sports Games, 2 Player Games — made by 113 different studios. They arrive three different ways, and the site labels which is which on every single card:

SlowDen never claims a game it did not make, and it does not publish ratings, review counts or play counts, because it does not collect any.

What SlowDen is for

Two things, and they are connected. Players get games that need no download, no install and no account — useful on a school or work laptop where you cannot install anything. Developers get somewhere to put a finished browser game and have real people play it: send one through the submission form, free, read by a person, with nothing guaranteed.

Slow Cook is the ongoing version of that — a creative prompt to build a game around, and a chance to be featured. Selected entries may get a shout-out across SlowDen’s accounts and a spot on the home page. Nothing beyond that is promised, and no entry fee is ever charged.

Questions people ask about SlowDen

What is SlowDen?

SlowDen is a free browser-game site where 200 games run in the browser tab you already have open — no download, no install and no sign-up — and where independent developers can submit a game of their own.

Who makes SlowDen?

SlowDen is built and run by one independent developer, not a company or a studio. The site introduces her in her own words on the home page: "I’m Liza — 11, from Uttar Pradesh, India." She builds games, apps and AI projects, and SlowDen is where the games live.

Did SlowDen make all these games?

No, and SlowDen never claims otherwise. Most of the 200 games here are partner games that reach SlowDen through a partnership with Playgama; they were made by 113 different studios and remain those studios' property. Every game says on its own card and on its own page who made it. Games that SlowDen made are labelled SlowDen Original, and open-source games hosted here are credited to their authors — The Cube, for example, is by Boris Šehovac.

Does SlowDen cost anything, or need an account?

No. There is no charge to play, no account to create and nothing to download or install. Partner games run inside Playgama’s own player, so whatever that player shows inside a game belongs to Playgama and the studio — SlowDen does not claim any game is ad-free and does not control what happens inside one.

Are SlowDen games unblocked at school or work?

SlowDen cannot promise that, and no site honestly can: whether slowden.com opens on a school or office network is decided by that network’s own filter. What is true, and what people usually mean by the word, is that nothing has to be installed and no administrator permission is needed — every game runs in the browser tab itself.

Can I put my own game on SlowDen?

Yes. Send a finished browser game through the submission form and a person reads it. There is no fee. Nothing is guaranteed — not traffic, not revenue, not a feature slot — and a game is only listed if it is a genuine fit.

What is Slow Cook?

Slow Cook is SlowDen’s ongoing creative challenge for developers: a prompt to build a browser game around, and a chance to be featured. Selected entries may receive a shout-out across SlowDen’s social accounts and a spot on the home page. Nothing beyond that is promised.
