Questions people ask about SlowDen

What is SlowDen?

SlowDen is a free browser-game site. Every game listed here runs inside a browser tab — there is nothing to download and no account to create. Most of the catalogue reaches SlowDen through Playgama, its catalogue partner, and each game is credited to the studio that made it. A small number of games are made by SlowDen itself and are labelled SlowDen Original.

Do you have to download anything or sign up to play?

No. Games run inside the browser tab you already have open. There is no installer, no launcher and no SlowDen account to create.

Are the games on SlowDen free?

Yes, free to play. SlowDen charges nothing and asks for no sign-up. Partner games run inside Playgama’s own player, so whatever that player shows or offers inside a game belongs to Playgama and the studio — SlowDen does not claim any game is ad-free and does not control what happens inside one.

Are SlowDen’s games unblocked at school or work?

SlowDen cannot promise that, and honestly no site can: whether slowden.com opens on a school or office network is decided by that network’s own filter, not by SlowDen. What is true is that nothing has to be installed and no administrator permission is needed — each game runs in the browser tab itself.

Did SlowDen make these games?

Most of them, no — and SlowDen never says otherwise. Games reaching SlowDen through Playgama remain the property of the studios that made them, and carry that studio’s name on the card and on the game page. Only games actually built by SlowDen are labelled SlowDen Original. A couple of open-source games are hosted here and credited to their authors.

Can you play SlowDen games on a phone?

Some, not all. Each game page prints the control list its studio published and says whether that list names a touch input or only keyboard keys. Those are the studios’ own published controls rather than SlowDen test results, so SlowDen does not claim every game works on a touchscreen.

Can developers put their own game on SlowDen?

Yes, and it costs nothing. Host your game anywhere it is playable in a browser — itch.io, Netlify, GitHub Pages, your own site — then send the link through the submit page. A person reads every submission. Being listed or featured is a chance, never a guarantee, and your game stays yours.

What is Slow Cook?

Slow Cook is SlowDen’s ongoing browser-game challenge. Developers take a creative prompt, build a small game around it and submit it. Selected entries have a chance to be featured on the SlowDen homepage plus a shoutout across SlowDen’s social accounts — a chance rather than a promise, and there is nothing to pay.

What I build

I'm Liza — a young developer who fell in love with building things on a screen. I started with small experiments and kept going, and today I make games, mobile apps, and AI chatbots that actually run and ship.

On the game side, I build browser and app games from scratch — the gameplay, the art, and the logic behind them. On the app side, I work in Flutter to make clean, responsive mobile apps. And I love AI most of all: wiring language models up to real backends so people can chat with something I built.

I'm comfortable across the stack — front-end, a bit of back-end, and the glue in between — and I pick up new tools quickly when a project needs them. I care about work that feels finished: smooth, simple, and a little bit me.

I'm available for freelance work now. If you have an idea — a game, an app, a website, or an AI tool — I'd love to help bring it to life.

Art

Outside code, I love to paint — oil painting especially — plus sketching and aesthetic work. There's something about the slow blending of oil paint that I adore.

Music

I sing, mostly just for me. My playlist is pure K-pop (Korean pop) and Thai songs — Phuwin, Pond, Jasper. I listen to what I love, not what's expected.

About me

I'm Liza — 11, from Uttar Pradesh, India. slowden is my corner of the internet: a games arcade out front, and everything else I make and love right here.

What SlowDen is

SlowDen is a home for browser games — a place to discover games and game ideas. Everything runs in a browser, so there is nothing to download and nothing to sign up for.

It collects fun web games to play, and doubles as a little hub for original experiments.

Made by

Who made it

SlowDen is built by an independent creator exploring browser games, game design, and web experiments.
