1. General information only

Everything on SlowDen — the catalogue, the descriptions, the articles, the guides, the challenge prompts — is published for general information and entertainment. It is not professional advice of any kind, and it should not be relied upon as though it were.

Articles about making games, submitting games, or marketing games describe what has worked for us or what we have observed. They are not business, legal, financial, technical or career advice, and outcomes described in them are not predictions of what will happen to you.

2. Games are made by other people

SlowDen did not make most of the games it lists and has no control over them. A game may be updated, altered, monetised, moved or withdrawn by its owner at any time, without notice to us, and the version you play today may differ from the one that was listed.

Listing a game is not an endorsement of it, a certification of its quality, a guarantee that it is free of bugs, or a statement that it is appropriate for any particular person. We remove listings that turn out to be harmful, but we cannot inspect every update to every game on a catalogue of this size, and we do not claim to.

3. Advertising inside games

SlowDen carries no advertising code of its own. Advertising you encounter while playing is served inside the game's own frame by the game's own host or its partner, and is subject to their arrangements rather than ours. We do not select those adverts, cannot preview them, and cannot remove an individual advert on request.

If you see an advert inside a game on SlowDen that is deceptive, distressing or plainly unsuitable, tell us anyway. We cannot remove the advert, but we can raise it with the partner and we can stop listing the game.

4. External links

Links to other websites are provided because they are useful. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you follow a link you are subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.

5. No guarantee of availability or accuracy

SlowDen is provided as is and as available. Pages may be unavailable, links may break, descriptions may be out of date and counts may be wrong. We correct errors when we learn of them, and telling us about one is the fastest way to have it fixed.

6. Slow Cook is a showcase, not a prize draw

Slow Cook involves no entry fee, no cash prize and no element of chance. What a selected entry receives is editorial attention: a feature on the homepage and a mention on SlowDen's channels. Selection is a subjective human decision and is never guaranteed to any entrant, however well an entry satisfies a prompt.

7. Earnings and outcomes

Nothing on SlowDen promises a developer traffic, players, revenue, exposure or any other outcome from having a game listed. Where we describe what happened to a particular game, that is a report of one case and not a representation that the same will happen to yours.

8. Your own safety online

Never enter a password, payment detail or personal document into a game frame. SlowDen will never ask you for a password or payment, has nothing to sell you, and no game listed here has any legitimate reason to ask for such a thing while running inside our player. If a game does ask, close it and report it to slowden.official@gmail.com.

9. Limitation

This disclaimer is to be read together with the disclaimer of warranties and the limitation of liability in the Terms of Use, which govern to the extent of any inconsistency. Nothing here excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
