Funny games online: 30, and most of them are not comedies

read from the SlowDen catalogue on 14 September 2026. Counts change as games are added.

The short version. SlowDen lists 30 free games under Funny, from 28 different studios — almost one studio each — all running in the browser tab you already have open, with no download and no sign-up. Only 5 of them are tagged funny by the people who made them. The rest are tower-defence games, idle tycoons, colouring books and arcade platformers. That is worth knowing before you click.

Funny games, web games, internet games — same thing

People look for these under several different names: browser games, web games, internet games or just online games. They all mean the same thing here — a game that runs on a web page, with nothing to install. If you arrived searching for funny games unblocked or free funny games online, this is the page you wanted.

Everything below is read straight out of the SlowDen catalogue: the titles, the studios, the tags and the control lists. Where a studio published something, we quote it. Where nobody published anything, we say so instead of guessing.

"Funny" is a shelf, not a genre

Split the 29 by what their own studios tagged them as, and the category comes apart into four piles that have very little to do with each other.

Cross-cutting all four: 5 games carry the "funny" tag itself — Plants vs Zombies Fusion Mode, Sprunki, Mystery Squishy Dumpling Blind Box, Cat Life Simulator: Devil Cat, Idle Game Dev Simulator — and they are spread across the piles rather than sitting together. A colouring book and a zombie tower-defence game are both filed here, and only one of them was ever described as funny by the studio that built it.

We have not re-filed any of them. The category a game sits in comes from the game, and quietly moving titles to make a page look tidier would misrepresent what the studios published. What we can do is tell you what is in the box.

3 of these came from independent developers

Smiley Doodle Jump, LumpBox, Israel Visits Tehran did not come from the partner catalogue. They were sent in by their developers through SlowDen's open submissions, and each is credited to the person or studio that made it.

That matters more than the number suggests. A partner title is syndicated — the same game is on a dozen other portals. A submitted game is not. If you want to play something you cannot find everywhere else, the developer-made games are where to look, and the full list of them runs well past this category.

Made something? Send it in. It does not have to be a challenge entry, and it does not have to be finished-looking — it has to run in a browser.

What the controls actually look like

21 of the 29 publish a control list, and 10 publish a "how to play" as well. The great majority are a mouse, a tap or one button — this is not a category that expects you to learn a keyboard layout.

Stickman Kombat 2D is the outlier, and by a distance: it publishes 14 separate control lines, because it is a two-fighter game with a full move set per player. Animal Evolution Simulator is next with 12. At the other end, Click Click Clicker is tagged one button and means it.

8 of the 29 arrived with no control list at all: PVZ Fusion Cheats, Plants vs Zombies Fusion Mode, Hero Defense King, Mystery Squishy Dumpling Blind Box, Cat Life Simulator: Devil Cat, Smiley Doodle Jump, LumpBox, Israel Visits Tehran. That is not a fault in the games — it is a gap in what shipped alongside them, and it is common across the whole partner catalogue. We would rather show you a blank than fill it in. Writing "use the mouse" because a game looks like it uses a mouse is exactly the kind of small invention that makes every other line on a page less trustworthy.

The usual caution applies and we are not going to drop it: these are the studios' own published control lists, not SlowDen test results. Read a keyboard-only list as a good reason to reach for a computer rather than as proof a game refuses to work on a phone. If phones are your main concern, browser games that work on a phone goes into it properly.

All 30, with the studio that made each one

28 studios for 29 games. 26 are partner titles shown in partnership with Playgama and remain the property of the studios credited; 3 are developer submissions. The only studio here with more than one game is Super Games, with PVZ Fusion Cheats and Plants vs Zombies Fusion Mode, and faraonovvit, with Geometry Arrow and Geometry Arrow 2.

Where to go next

If you came for something genuinely silly, start with the 5 tagged funny: Plants vs Zombies Fusion Mode, Sprunki, Mystery Squishy Dumpling Blind Box, Cat Life Simulator: Devil Cat, Idle Game Dev Simulator. If the tower-defence pile is more your thing, PVZ Fusion Cheats, Plants vs Zombies Fusion Mode, Age of Heroes, AOD - Art Of Defense, Hero Defense King are all here. And if you wanted the quiet end, Color Pixels - Coloring by Numbers, Cozy Coloring, Eternal Dance.

The whole category lives at funny games. Neighbouring categories worth a look: arcade, kids and puzzle.

Questions people actually ask

Are these funny games really free?

Yes. Every one of the 29 is free to play with no account and nothing to install. SlowDen does not sell games and does not take payment from players.

Why are there tower defence games in a "funny" category?

Because that is where the studios filed them, and we have not moved anything to make the page look tidier. Only 5 of the 29 carry a "funny" tag at all. 5 are tower-defence or defence games, 4 are idle tycoons and clickers, and 3 are colouring and drawing games. "Funny" is a shelf label here, not a promise of jokes.

Which ones are actually funny?

The 5 tagged that way by their own studios are Plants vs Zombies Fusion Mode, Sprunki, Mystery Squishy Dumpling Blind Box, Cat Life Simulator: Devil Cat, Idle Game Dev Simulator. That is the honest answer — we do not rate humour, and we do not track plays, so we are not going to rank them for you.

Do I need a keyboard?

Mostly no. 21 of the 29 publish a control list, and the great majority describe a mouse, a tap or a single button. Each game's page carries its own control note, copied from what the studio published rather than from our own testing.

Are any of these made by independent developers?

3 of them are. Smiley Doodle Jump, LumpBox, Israel Visits Tehran came in through SlowDen's open submissions rather than from the partner catalogue, and each one is credited to the developer who sent it. Anyone can submit a browser game.

Who made these games?

27 different studios for 29 games — almost one each. Every game is credited by name on its own page and on its card. 26 are partner titles shown in partnership with Playgama and remain the property of the studios that built them.

Which is the best one?

We do not rank them. SlowDen does not track play counts, and inventing a "most played" list would be making a number up. The full category is listed above so you can pick for yourself.

Made a game that makes people laugh? SlowDen takes submissions from developers — any playable browser game, and it does not have to be a challenge entry. Send it here. And if you publish a control list with it, you will already be ahead of 8 of the games on this page.
