Party games for a group: everyone joins from their own phone
Seven free browser games for 2 to 12 players: one person shares a room code, everyone joins from a phone or laptop. Quiz, drawing, spy, word and board games.
Most "multiplayer" games still assume everyone is staring at one screen. These work the other way round:
one person opens the game and makes a table, shares a short room code, and everyone else joins from
whatever is in their pocket. Nothing to install and nobody has to pass a laptop around.
All seven were sent to SlowDen by the people who made them, in the last few days. Six come from
one developer, Boardit (Ahmed Moaz), which is why they all share the same room-code system. None of them was
made by SlowDen.
When you want everyone shouting answers
Trivia Tavern: Quiz With Friends — 2 to 8 players, more than 11,000 questions in 13 categories. Everyone answers on their own phone, quicker right answers score more, rounds go from easy to hard and the last round counts double. Made by Boardit (Ahmed Moaz)
Draw and Guess: Drawing Game — 2 to 12 players. One person draws a secret word, everyone else races to guess it in the chat, and guessing sooner scores more. Letters appear as time runs out, and you can add your own word list. Made by Boardit (Ahmed Moaz)
When you want someone to be lying
Who's the Spy: Imposter Game — 3 to 8 players online, or up to 12 passing one phone. Everyone gets the same secret word except the spy, who only knows the category. One clue each, then vote out whoever sounded least convincing. Made by Boardit (Ahmed Moaz)
When you want it fast
Finish the Word — 2 to 5 players. Start each word with the letter or prefix shown before the timer runs out (it shrinks from 15 seconds to 5), no repeats, and the last player with a life wins. Ranked, casual, a private room for friends, or practice against a bot; English, Spanish and German word lists. Made by Audi Balaji
When you want a board game without the box
Property Rush — 2 to 6 players. A property-trading board game: buy cities, charge rent, own a whole country to double it, bid at auctions, trade and build. Its own listing says it is independent and not affiliated with Hasbro. Made by Boardit (Ahmed Moaz)
Ludo Online With Friends — 2 to 4 players. Classic Ludo: a six to leave base, captures send rivals home, pairs and starred squares are safe. Turns are limited to 30 seconds so nobody stalls. Made by Boardit (Ahmed Moaz)
Snakes & Ladders Online — 2 to 8 players. The 100-square race: climb ladders, slide down snakes, land on 100 exactly. There are no decisions to make, which is why its makers say young children can play with grandparents on another phone. Made by Boardit (Ahmed Moaz)
